Ινδική Υποτροφία για Έλληνες Φοιτητές. (2008-2009).

Το Ινδικό Συμβούλιο Πολιτιστικών Σχέσεων (ICCR) προσφέρει μια υποτροφία σε Έλληνες φοιτητές για σπουδές ή έρευνα στην Ινδία στα πλαίσια του Ελληνο-Ινδικού Προγράμματος Μορφωτικών Ανταλλαγών. Ο τύπος της Αίτησης και οδηγίες για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2008-2009 διατίθενται από το Υπουργείο Εθν. Παιδείας & Θρησκ/των, Διεύθυνση Σπουδών και Φοιτητικής Μέριμνας, Τμήμα Β, την Ινδική Πρεσβεία στην Αθήνα και την ιστοσελίδα του ICCR: www.iccrindia.org/scholarships.htm 

Η αίτηση θα πρέπει να σταλεί στην Ινδική Πρεσβεία στην Αθήνα για προώθηση στο  ICCR, Νέο Δελχί. Η υποτροφία δεν περιλαμβάνει τα έξοδα του αεροπορικού εισιτηρίου και οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να γνωρίζουν άπταιστα αγγλικά ή Χίντι. Τελευταία ημέρα για την αποδοχή της αίτησης στην Πρεσβεία είναι η 14^η Φεβρουαρίου 2008.

Indian Scholarship for Greek Students (2008-2009).

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offers one scholarship to meritorious students from Greece for studies in India under the Indo-Greek Cultural Exchange Program. A set of application form and guidelines for the 2008-2009 academic year is available by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, Direction of Studies and Student Care B, the Indian Embassy in Athens, and the website of the ICCR: www.iccrindia.org/scholarships.htm

The applications should be send to the Indian Embassy in Athens for onward transmission to the ICCR, New Delhi. Kindly note that the scholarship does not cover airfare and the candidates should have fluent knowledge of English or Hindi. Last date for receiving the application in Indian Mission is February 14, 2008.

Πολιτιστικές Εβδομάδες Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης

Οι αντιπροσωπίες των κρατών μελών της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και η αντιπροσωπία της Ευρωπαϊκής  Ένωσης σε συνεργασία με το Ινδικό Συμβούλιο Πολιτιστικών Σχέσεων (ICCR) διοργανώνουν μια σειρά από πολιτιστικά γεγονότα σαν μέρος των «πολιτιστικών εβδομάδων της Ε.Ε.» στο Νέο Δελχί από 22 Νοεμβρίου έως 2 Δεκεμβρίου 2007 στα πλαίσια του 8^ου Συνεδρίου Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και Ινδίας που θα λάβει μέρος στο Δελχί στις 30 Νοεμβρίου 2007. Το Εμπορικό Συνέδριο της Ε.Ε. και Ινδίας θα γίνει από τα αντίστοιχα εμπορικά επιμελητήρια στις 29 Νοεμβρίου. European Union Cultural Weeks
(New Delhi from 22 Nov - 02 Dec)

The European Union Member State missions and the Delegation of the European Commission in India, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), are staging major cultural events as part of "EU Cultural Weeks" in New Delhi from 22 November -  02 December in the context of the 8th EU-India Summit being held in New Delhi on 30 November 2007. The EU-India Business Summit will be organised by the respective chambers of commerce on 29 November.   Η συμβολή της Τάντρα στην Ινδική Παράδοση και Φιλοσοφία είναι υψίστης   σημασίας αν και έχει ελάχιστα μελετηθεί από τον ευρύτερο ακαδημαϊκό και δυτικό κόσμο. Οι διαλέξεις αυτές αποσκοπούν να αποκρυπτογραφήσουν την μυστικιστική γλώσσα και τον θεολογικό συμβολισμό αυτής της πανάρχαιας λαϊκής παράδοσης και  να αποκαλύψουν μια βαθιά φιλοσοφία που δεν περιορίζεται απλά σε μια αφηρημένη κοσμοθεωρία αλλά προβάλλει ταυτόχρονα και μια πρακτική αντίληψη για την ζωή ιδιαίτερα χρήσιμη για τον σύγχρονο άνθρωπο και τα προβλήματα που τον διακατέχουν.

Τάντρα και Βεδάντα ιστορική εξέλιξη και διαφοροποίηση.

 Το ΚΕΝΤΡΟ ΔΙΑΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΜΙΚΩΝ ΣΠΟΥΔΩΝ συνεχίζει για τρίτη χρονιά την επιτυχημένη δραστηριότητά του. Λειτουργώντας ουσιαστικά σαν ένα κέντρο επιμόρφωσης ενηλίκων και χρηματοδοτούμενο από τους ίδιους τους συμμετέχοντες, αποβλέπει στη διαμόρφωση ενός ζωντανού χώρου θεωρητικών προβληματισμών και δημιουργικής έμπνευσης και, ει δυνατόν, να γίνει εστία πρωτότυπης παραγωγής στο πεδίο του στοχασμού και της καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας.

To ΚΕΝΤΡΟ ΔΙΑΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΜΙΚΩΝ ΣΠΟΥΔΩΝ ιδρύθηκε το καλοκαίρι τού 2005 με πρωτοβουλία τού συγγραφέα, κριτικού και δοκιμιογράφου Φώτη Τερζάκη και περιλαμβάνει κατά τη φετινή χρονιά στο δυναμικό του επτά διδάσκοντες σε αντίστοιχους κύκλους μαθημάτων (δείτε το αναλυτικό πρόγραμμα).

Dear ELINEPA ,   I am Dr. Zhang Tong and teacher in sociology & ethnology department of the South-Central University for Nationalities in China. The 16th World Congress of IUAES will be held in the city of Kunming, China, from July 15 to July 23, 2008.
There are four types of registration fees: (1) IUAES members, US$100; (2) Non-IUAES members, US$150; (3) students, US$50; (4) companions, US$30. Scholars will pay their traveling cost except food expending during the congress period. 
We are the college where ethnicity study has been the main academic interests. We are hosting a panel of that congress. It will be very appreciated if we could have chance to discuss ethnic issues with you in the panel, next year. Your coming would be a great honor for us since we are a small college and often ignored by powerful ones, but we are eager to know, and have confidence also, the best research in ethnic issues. 8th World Hindi Conference

 An Important Event for Hindi Language

Hindi is the second most spoken language in the world following the Chinese. Geographically, people who speak Hindi are scattered all over the world including in the United States, which has been chosen as the host of Eighth World Hindi Conference. The conference is being held in New York from July 13 to 15, 2007. It is being organized in cooperation with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New York.

The Conference will deliberate on issues relating to the growth and presence of Hindi in the world including teaching of Hindi in foreign countries, use of information technology and necessary measures to increase its popularity.

The conference will be inaugurated at the United Nations headquarters on 13th July. A large number of distinguished guests and senior dignitaries from various countries are expected to attend the conference along with eminent Hindi scholars, writers and poets from across the globe.

Ινδικό Χορευτικό Υπερθέαμα στην Αθήνα

3-4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2006

Το ινδικό χορευτικό συγκρότημα «Darpana» θα παρουσιάσει το χορευτικό υπερθέαμα « Ινδία – Τότε, Τώρα και Πάντα» στο θέατρο Ηρώδου του Αττικού, Αθήνα, στις 3 και 4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2006 και ώρα 20.30. Η παράσταση  είναι δημιούργημα της διάσημης Ινδής χορογράφου Mallika Sarabhai.

First Conference of the MedAsia
Barcelona, in Casa Asia the 14th and 15th of September, 2006.

The conference, will attempt, through a presentation, to introduce the state of the field of Asian Studies at
institutions throughout southern Europe. At the same time  will introduce existing programs for cultural and educational
cooperation between Europe and Asia supported by the European Commission. In addition in a conference we will deal with the question of documentation and archives on Asia in Europe. Finally, there will be opportunities for less formal exchange over lunch and between sessions, as well as one session which will be devoted to presentations of institutions willing to discuss their activities and facilities. In order to succeed in the establishment of this network of  institutions and to promote the efficient flow of information between institutions we would very much appreciate your participation. It is only with the full participation of all institutions involved in Asian Studies in southern Europe that the project will succeed in advancing the field and facilitating teaching and research about Asia throughout Southern Europe.
