DEMETRIOS GALANOS THE ATHENIAN (1760 -1833) - Α GREEK INDOLOGIST.

This photographic exhibition is dedicated to the memory of  Siegfried A. Schulz, professor emeritus of modern languages and literatures, Georgetown University, of Washington, D.C., who left this world on January 25, 2002. His pioneering  research papers  illuminated our knowledge about the life and the work of D. Galanos. The INDIKA also publishes for the first time an unfinished  research paper by Prof. Schulz on "The BhagavadGita of Galanos in Greek" which is considered as a remarkable contribution to the subject.

The photos are from the personal archive of  D. Vassiliades
